About Me:

I am known to many of you - T. Alan Hartman, a.k.a., "The King of Autographs." For those who don't know me, I am an early pioneer in the autograph field. I began collecting autographs in-person in 1960, when I was nine years old. I have collected ever since, just about all fields - all sports, music, politics and more. I am regarded by many veteran hobbyists as the most knowledgeable expert in the autograph field. Though my time is limited for it, I own and operate an autograph authentication service, called First-Hand Authentication. Few people have worked harder to get fake autographs out of circulation and to expose sellers of forged autographs, but, alas, I cannot do it alone.
