I received this note in the mail on June 2, 2011:
"Mr. Cousy will be happy to provide his autograph in exchange for a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters ... Requested donation amounts: Flat piece signature ($99); Premium item (Basketball, jersey, etc.; $125); Personalization (HOF, MVP; $25 additional). Return packaging and postage should be included. Please do not send cash."

Instead of sending cash, try a check made out to Big Brothers & Big Sisters to him. I had mailed a card once & he sent back money. When I mailed him a second time I included cash & asked him to put it to charity of his choice. I sent back my picture signed with a pre-printed card asking to mail items with a check to BB&BS. He is one of the great ones, happy to make a donation in his name.

I spoke to Mr. Cousy's daughter today. She asked me to let people know that Mr. Cousy will no longer be signing any items except cards and 8x10 photos. He's 92 years old now and is limiting what he signs. He is fiishing up the largers items that he has and not accepting anymore.
