So there are a few new things I have been working on this week and I'm able to launch these new features a few days earlier than I had planned. Even though the message board looks very much the same, I re-coded the way it works to make it run smoother.

Here are the first two functionalities ready to go:

Stickys

A sticky is a thread that is specially marked to appear at the top of a topic.For important or popular threads, this is a great way to keep them easily available. The screen below shows an example "Rules of the Site":

Editing Posts

Many of you have asked for the ability to edit your message board threads and posts. The screens below show the process:

Users can click on the edit button of a thread or post they created.

 
Users can then edit the Subject and Message.

Once the thread or post has been updated, a line detailing that it was updated appears.
