My name is Carl and I live in Livingston, NJ with my wife, 2 daughters and our dog.
I began collecting baseball cards in 1987 when a friend gave me some at summer camp. After collecting for 3 years (and accumulating a vast amount of now pretty much worthless 1987-1990 topps, donruss and fleer cards), I started collecting autographs. My first autograph was David Cone who I got on a photo and a baseball at a card show in 1988 (autograph cost was $4 each). My first ttm autograph was Clyde Drexler on a card I got in a box of Kelloggs cereal and then sent to him.
I was a heavy duty autograph collector from 1990 through 2000, and, while collecting with my mom and her boyfriend, amassed hundreds of thousands of autographs from all sports as well as historical, military, cinema and any other genre you could think of. I took a hiatus in 2000 but after graduating law school began collecting again. My focus now is on signed card sets. I am always happy to buy, sell or trade if you have anything i need or if I have anything you may need (please feel free to pm, I have plenty of stuff).
